Her Strength, Our Strength is a participatory series that uses art as a starting point for reflection on motherhood. People nominate artwork that speaks to their experience of motherhood, whether as mothers themselves or as those touched by its care. Then they join small-group discussions and online sharing to explore how a mother’s strength becomes our shared strength.
Motherhood carries both strength and strain. Health, identity, recovery, and loss are all part of its story. Yet woven through every experience is the way mothers create bonds that extend outward into families and communities.
Through art and conversation, we listen, reflect, and build new ties of connection. Her strength becomes our strength.
Whether you're a mother, a caregiver, a friend, or simply someone who cares: Nominate artwork. Join a salon. Share what has carried you.
This is how community heals us.
